Icelandic withdrawal from fossil-fuel based economy.

In co-operation with other Scandinavian countries, Iceland is now well advanced in the technology drive to distance itself from a carbon fossil fuel based economy. Thermal and hydroelectric energy is being used to extract hydrogen to power electric fuel cells in a variety of transport sytems. I wonder whether the EU and the UK government authorities are keeping up-to-date with this enlightened technological development | |
