31st May 2007 - - - We are flat out to obtain 'Charitable Trust' status. This will take a while as we need to gain the approval of each individual for his/her Board appointment, satisfy the application criteria of the Charities Commission , and submit the application form (great efforts are being made by Jan Savill and I to make it 'squeaky clean' and compliant).

Keep your fingers crossed - - - the outcome of the application will have an immediate and significant impact on our financial and operating capacity.

Good news - - - four out of the five Board members have accepted their posts !! A quorum exists from today.
